I had amazing tanks before the winder storm hit & someone shared this info with me as they saw my loss & thought I should submit my info. Just since Oct 2020 alone I invested over 3k into my tank not including what I already had in it. I felt like I wanted to get out of the hobby because of my loss but I’ve had so many reach out to keep it going because I had such amazing tanks prior to this. I had two tanks a Red Sea 250 & a JBJ 45g & lost everything I had in them. I was without power in my apt complex for 3 days in a row & I even slept in my car one night with my fish to try to keep the temp warm enough to try to save what fish I could. Nothing helped as my apt alone was in the 40’s so when I went back in with warm packs attached to plastic containers with battery operated bubblers to try to save what I could. I ended up losing all I had, so this time around I want to make sure I have all precautions to ensure this never happens again & I want to get my tanks going again. I had several high end torches, anemones, zoas, etc along with all my fish that I lost.
